What is a listening service?
A listening service is a platform where you can say what is on your mind and actually have someone attentively listen to you. You can speak freely, without fear of criticism or rebuke, and without anyone else talking over you. Your listener is dedicated to providing a conversation you will truly enjoy.
What can we talk about when a listener calls me?
What you want! You decide the topic of conversation! Our listeners make sure you enjoy what you are talking about. They will not ask for personal information you do not wish to share. You can share what you want and say what you want, but you must abide by our Code of Conduct.
Are my conversations recorded?
No. Your conversations are between you and your listener. We respect your privacy and do not eavesdrop on your sessions. That said, listeners do take notes about your sessions in order to properly continue the conversation in the future and better cater to your personal preferences.
Do you sell my personal information?
Absolutely not. We respect your privacy and safeguard your information. We make our revenue from selling our service, not from selling your data. We likewise will not send you any outside advertisements.
What happens if I cannot answer when my listener calls me?
If your listener calls at your scheduled time and you do not answer, he or she will try again five minutes later, and again five minutes after that. If you still do not answer, you will forfeit your session and will not receive a refund.
Can I reschedule an appointment after I make it?
Yes. Just be sure to do it at least one day in advance. Out of respect for our listeners, we cannot allow appointments to be changed just before their scheduled time. You can reschedule from inside your account.
Do my unused subscription credits roll over to next week?
Sure! Busy this week? No worries. Your unused credits will accrue in your account for when you want to have some extra talk time. For more detail on how subscriptions work, see our Subscription Details page.
Do my credits expire?
Never. They will remain in your account as long as your account is open. If you close your account, you will lose any unused credits. Schedule a session whenever you are ready to talk!
Do you offer refunds for unused credits?
Sorry, but all purchases are final. Unused credits will remain in your account, but you cannot exchange them or transfer them to anyone else. You will not receive a refund for credits, missed appointments, or sessions you end early.
